Upgrading everything about Candles
The Wax
We started with pure sustainable soy wax for clean, longer lasting burn that is doesn’t rob valuable resources from the earth and supports our local economy.
The Wick
Then we used eco-friendly, non-toxic wood wicks with our own cotton lead to make for easy lighting, and burning. Eliminating the issues that so often accompany wood wicks like moisture content, tunneling and more.
The Mason Jar
We chose to use re-usable mason jars and we made sure our candles burn so evenly you actually have a usable jar at the end with just a small pool of wax in the bottom. Check out our recipe that uses recycled candle jars for other products here.
The Fragrance
The biggest issue for us, was scent. Isn’t scent why we all burn candles anyway? We made sure to maximize the fragrance in our candles for strong scent all the way to bottom. However, knowing that 90% of fragrances in the US contain a dangerous ingredient called phthalates, we have all our fragrances custom formulated to be phthalate-free for your health and safety. Love them! I bought the new Hog Heaven scent candle and it is does smell heavenly. Really like that is does have a wood wick and seems to last a long time. I will definitely be purchasing more.

With so many unique scents selecting which scent we wanted to try was really hard. Their pairing of the sweet scent of cherries and nutty aroma of almonds was a combination that we had never seen before and decided that it would be one that we’d enjoy trying. I am a very outdoor, fresh air, country girl. I spend most if my time outdoors in the fresh air. Although I live in Western New York and from October till sometimes March we have extremely cold weather, which when I have to be indoors I’ve always burned candles. I found the wood wick candles and I can honestly say I’ll NEVER go back to buying any brand of candles except these. They are very well scented and the entire candle burns to the bottom. I’ve been eyeballing this brand for several months now, but was worried the candles would arrive broken and shattered in the mail. I finally placed an order and everything was packaged amazingly well! The customer service was outstanding, the scents are exactly as described, the wood wick is such a cozy touch, and I’ve never had a candle burn so cleanly. The top of the candle doesn’t cave in and you have to go digging for the wick; it’s a very uniform burn throughout, which I’ve never seen in a candle before.
